SalesLane Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

SalesLane is designed for automotive dealership sales teams. Currently, we collect:

• Sales Data: Customer information, vehicle details, transaction records entered by dealership staff
• Photos: Delivery photos taken with the camera feature (stored locally on device)
• Usage Data: Basic app interactions and performance metrics
• Device Information: Camera and photo library access for delivery photos

Note: SalesLane currently operates within your dealership's existing system. No individual user accounts are required.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide sales tracking and commission calculation services
• Generate reports and analytics for dealership management
• Send delivery confirmation emails to customers
• Improve app functionality and user experience

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider. We implement:

• End-to-end encryption for sensitive data
• Row-level security policies
• Regular security audits and updates
• Access controls limited to authorized dealership personnel

Note: Delivery photos are stored locally on your device and securely transmitted by encrypted email when sent to customers. Photos are not stored by SalesLane after the email is sent.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your information to third parties. Data sharing is limited to:

• Within your dealership organization for legitimate business purposes
• When required by law or legal process
• With essential service providers (database hosting, email delivery)
• Customer delivery photos are only shared with the specific customer via email

5. Camera and Photo Permissions

SalesLane requests camera access to:

• Take delivery photos for customer records
• Save photos to your device's photo library
• Attach photos to customer delivery emails

Photos are only used for legitimate business purposes and customer communication.

6. Your Rights

As a dealership team member, you have the right to:

• Access sales data you've entered
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Control camera and photo library permissions through device settings
• Contact dealership management regarding data handling

Note: Since no individual accounts are created, data management is handled at the dealership level.

7. Children's Privacy

SalesLane is intended for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes through the app or email.
